Charlotte R. Mahoney is a founding partner of MNB Meridian Law, Ltd., and the partner in charge of the National Security and Military Administrative & Personnel Law practices. Prior to establishing the firm, Charlotte served as a career U.S. Army Judge Advocate and in a variety of knowledge management positions.
Charlotte served nearly 21 years as an Army Judge Advocate assigned as a criminal prosecutor; military law instructor at the Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth KS; as Officer-in-Charge of the Hunter Army Airfield Legal Center where she deployed with the 3ID In Operation Iraqi Freedom; as Chief, Foreign Torts Branch of the U.S. Army Claims Service; and as Command Judge Advocate, U.S. Army Human Resources Command. She was last assigned as the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps Deputy Chief Information Officer/Chief, Information Technology Division.
Upon retirement from the Army, she was the Director, Knowledge and Research Services, at WilmerHale, and later joined the Defense Health Agency as its Chief, Knowledge Management Strategy.
Due to her time with the Department of the Army, Charlotte is a leading expert on the administrative processes for the discipline of military personnel. She also holds the internationally recognized designation as an expert in military justice.
Charlotte is a Member of the Board of Directors with the Veterans Yoga Project (VYP), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports recovery and resilience among veterans, military families, and communities.
